About Us
Carver Living Center asks you to trust us to care for you, your loved one, or a friend. When a decision is made to place someone in a long-term care facility, you are basing your decision not on experience, but on trust. You trust those who are guiding you through the process of identifying potential facilities. You trust your medical provider when he or she supports the referral to a facility and you are asked to trust the facility to provide the necessary care in a manner that is caring, respectful, and appropriate. The staff at Carver Living Center takes the responsibility of earning and keeping your trust very seriously.
We believe that quality of life is the single most important component of a persons stay at our facility and every staff member, upon hire, signs a written commitment to this effect which is the basis of all our decisions. We also believe that in order to provide the highest quality care, we need the support and input of the resident, their families, and their friends.
Rates
Carver Living Center is unlike many other facilities which have additional costs for extra services such as use of an adaptive device or a feeding program. The daily rate includes room and board, nursing services, meals, as well as support activities, housekeeping, psych-social programming and social services.
Billed separately are medications, x-rays, lab work and all services provided by outside vendors including physicians. There will be an additional charge for services such as laundry, beauty shop, incontinence garments, personal phone and medical supplies.

$185 per day
Private Skilled Nursing
$200 per day
Restore (Rehab) Room
$300 per day
*A one month advanced payment is required upon admission for private pay residents. This payment will be applied towards costs incurred during the first month’s stay.
We are Medicare/Medicaid Certified and licensed by the State of North Carolina Department of Public Health. We continuously uphold these standards to provide the best health care available during every individual’s stay with us. One of our admissions counselors will be happy to discuss the eligibility requirements of these programs.

Social and Recreational Services
Specially trained Recreational Therapists provide stimulating, meaningful activities allowing residents a diverse and enjoyable experience. An Activity Calendar highlighting daily, evening, and weekend activities is provided to each resident on a monthly basis. Activity staff coordinate programs with nursing staff so that all residents can participate. Scheduled outings help our residents maintain a connection to the community as well as fulfilling a sense of purpose and belonging.
Personal Services
Our residents enjoy a quiet sophisticated atmosphere with gracious living and dining rooms. Professional Beauty and Barber services, personal banking, laundry services, and news subscriptions, are just a few of the amenities offered. We also extend a variety of religious services promoting spirituality and emotional well-being.
Our fully furnished, private and semi-private rooms provide a home-like setting, and residents are encouraged to add personal touches including pieces of furniture and decorations.
Beautiful outdoor patios provide residents an opportunity to view the lovely surroundings throughout the seasons.
