From your first day of admission we develop a plan of care tailored to your goals and wishes. We accommodate many different levels of care including those who need a short term stay, a long term stay, respite care, and/or palliative care. Our facility is designed to make you feel right at home. From the newly remodeled bedrooms, spacious living rooms, fine dining areas, and beautifully landscaped courtyards you will find it easy to relax and find comfort.
City of Oaks also boasts the most comprehensive rehabilitation program in the area. Our therapy department exceeds all others by using advanced treatment modalities, state-of-the-art equipment, and a therapy staff unmatched in professional skill and years of experience.
Another unique feature of our community is our Hospice Care program. City of Oaks is the only place in the Triangle where Hospice patients and their families can find comfort and peace of mind in a homelike setting and still get the best of nursing care for their special needs. Our staff is specially trained in pain and symptom management, keeping in mind the individual needs of a patient with a terminal illness. We contract with several area Hospice agencies to ensure the highest quality of care and the patient and family's right to choose a provider. City of Oaks offers an atmosphere that is calm, comforting and supportive. We have ten private Hospice suites expressly designed to provide privacy, dignity and comfort. Each suite features a sofa chair that unfolds into a bed which accommodates an overnight guest, a private bathroom, cable television, family dining lounge, resource center, and beautiful new furniture. We are proud to offer this service to our community.
