Here at Countryside Manor Nursing Home we are not a typical nursing care facility. We have a unique concept in caring for the older adult. We are a privately owned nursing home, situated on 62 acres of beautiful woodlands in Stokesdale, North Carolina. Conveniently located near Greensboro and Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
Countryside Manor Nursing Home offers skilled, intermediate and assisted living care. We have a homelike setting that encourages the individual's fullest potential for everyday living. Both private and semi-private rooms are decorated in a tasteful and appealing country motif.
The floor plan of our nursing home includes single-level, fire-resistant construction. Each room has cable TV and telephone outlets. Residents enjoy the comfortable living room, spacious dining room, and outdoor courtyard.

We are staffed at Countryside Manor Nursing Home with professional licensed nurses and listed nurse assistants with education in gerontological nursing. There is also a licensed Nursing Home Administrator with a Master's Degree.

Skilled and Intermediate Nursing Care Services
Routine Care Given: With the staffing and equipment at Countryside Manor we are able to provide the following routine care:
* Supervision and/or assistance in dressing, toileting, bathing, oral hygiene,
and eating.
* Administration of oral, topical and injectable medications.
* Treatments performed by professional nurses.
* Therapeutic diets.
* IV fluids
* Proper positioning, turning and transferring.
* Range of motion and exercise.
* Assistance in walking.
* Feeding, grooming, bowel and bladder rehabilitation.
* Arrangements for the following professional services in the facility:
podiatrist, optician, dentist, and psychologist.
* Companionship and emotional support.
* Mentally, physically, and spiritually stimulating activities.
* Arrangements for consultation with specialized physicians and dentists.
* Oxygen and inhalation therapy.
* Enternal feedings.
Routine Care Not Given:
* Surgery
* Blood Transfusions
* Radiation Treatment
* Kidney Dialysis
* Respirator
* Respirator Isolation
* Intravenous medication unless approved by the facility's medical director
