Crystal Bluffs Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center was created to offer an enlightened approach to providing health care services. Our philosophy is to ensure that residents have skilled and compassionate care while enabling them to experience the highest quality of life. Our mission is to provide a place where residents are treated with dignity and respect, and where activities are planned that support each person’s independence and self-esteem. We do all we can to create an environment that allows our residents to enjoy this phase of their lives, feel they are part of a caring family, and know they are safe and well looked after by a concerned and capable staff.
We opened our brand new 56,000 square foot facility in March 2008 and since then have quickly caught the attention of the local medical community. We are conveniently located less than a mile from Carteret General Hospital and the Medical Park and offer such amenities as 36 Private Rooms with Private Bathrooms, Hair Salon, Internet Access, Playground, Putting Green, and Coffee Bar. Rehabilitation Services
Crystal Bluffs offers extensive Rehabilitation Therapy services. It is the goal of our licensed therapists to help residents regain the highest level of functional independence.
Physical Therapy to help residents build strength and improve mobility
Speech Therapy to help residents communicate and regain functional swallowing abilities
Occupational Therapy to help residents regain independence with dressing, bathing, and feeding themselves.
In addition to our long-term care services we also offer short-term care. We can help residents who may need rehabilitation therapy following surgery, accidents, or illness return home quickly and safely as soon as possible.
When a complete recovery from an injury or other condition is not possible, our occupational therapists assist residents in learning the necessary skills and techniques for continuing an independent lifestyle.
Through a personalized regimen, our therapists help residents adapt their everyday routines and environments to allow the greatest amount of freedom and self-reliance possible.
