The Schramm Health Center is designed to accommodate 67 residents, with 20 beds in the Assisted Living Unit and 47 beds (39 private and 8 semi-private) in the Hidell Nursing Unit.

The Schramm Health Center also includes the Workman Wellness Center. The Workman Wellness Center includes:

* physical and occupational therapy facilities
* a Wellness Clinic supervised by a registered nurse and serving residents within
The Pines
* a hot water whirlpool
* a 24 foot by 50 foot warm water therapy pool
* outdoor courtyards
* an exercise room

The Pines also maintains four passes, which residents may use at no extra charge, to the local YMCA which features indoor and outdoor pools, weight, weight room, water front, basketball and tennis courts.

Welcome to The Pines at Davidson. The Pines is a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) located on a beautiful, wooded 50-acre campus at 400 Avinger Lane in Davidson, NC. As a CCRC, The Pines offers residents a full continuum of health care, from independent living to skilled nursing care. Life at The Pines is vibrant and active; however, should a resident's health change, additional care is available on site, eliminating the need for a move to another facility.

The Pines offers residents lifetime use of a residence and care within The Pines community in accordance with the terms of a Residence and Care Agreement. Residents may also use The Pines' many common areas and amenities, including the Workman Wellness Center.

At The Pines, we take a proactive stance on health care for our residents. The Pines' Health Center and Wellness Center accommodate all levels of need - assisted, intermediate, and skilled nursing care; and a professional staff on-duty 24 hours a day ensures that all our residents will receive the care they deserve.

Our approach to a high quality of life addresses dietary, social, psychological and spiritual needs as well as physical so that you may achieve the greatest level of independence possible knowing that care is available if needed. The Wellness Center includes a physician's clinic, physical therapy room, warm-water therapy pool & whirlpool, and exercise room.
