Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is a 183-bed Skilled Nursing Facility located in Taylorsville, North Carolina. We are committed to providing quality care and quality services. We are dually certified for Medicare and Medicaid and also accept private insurance, private pay, Medicare Replacement plans, VA contract, workers compensation, and Hospice care residents.

Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center specializes in Ventilator Management, Short Stay Rehabilitation, Wound Care, as well as Long-Term Skilled Nursing Services.

Facility Services Include:
•49 bed Sub-Acute Ventilator Unit with Respiratory Therapy Services available 24 hours per day
•40 bed Short-Term Specialized Rehabilitation Unit
•94 bed Long-Term Skilled Nursing Unit
•Respite Care available for five days or less
•Resident Care provided by Medical Director, Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical
Nurses, and Certified Nursing Assistants 24 hours per day
•Licensed/Certified Therapy Professionals on staff providing rehabilitation 7 days a week in the areas of Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Respiratory Therapy, Music Therapy, and Recreational Therapy.

•Hospice Services available through Alexander, Catawba, and Iredell Counties

Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility is located at the base of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, NC where residents can enjoy the seasonal changes in a quiet small town atmosphere. There is a landscaped courtyard designed for outdoor relaxation or family visitation.

We continue to enhance long-term care nursing capabilities, increase treatment opportunities for short-term residents, and update our facility to better accommodate the needs of the growing population.
